Your Ceremony

INITIAL MEETING

The initial meeting is an obligation-free consultation. At this time I will outline the whole process and explain all the legal documentation that is required, discuss the type of ceremony that you might want, and answer any of your questions.

FIRST MEETING

If you decide to go ahead, we will organise our first meeting, and book a date for your ceremony. Your first task is to complete a Notice of Intended Marriage form, (NOIM), and I will lodge it on your behalf. I will let you know prior to our first meeting, which documents are required to complete the NOIM.

Then we start discussing your ideas for your wedding, and we will work together in creating your unique and special ceremony. I can provide you with an information pack containing sample ceremonies, poetry, readings, rituals, vows, and so on.

Whether you wish to keep the ceremony simple, have traditional themes or include something innovative, my role is to offer ideas, assistance and guidance. I will be available for communication via phone, email, texting, and when necessary, I will meet with you.

REHEARSAL

Prior to the ceremony a rehearsal can be organised. This takes away stress as everybody knows where they are coming in from, their positions, and the order of the ceremony.

ON THE DAY

When the day finally arrives, it is my role to make sure that your ceremony is enjoyable and stress free.

I will arrive early at the venue to set up the PA system and conduct a sound check, and ensure that the signing table and chairs are in place, along with any ritual items that might be used. I will liase with photographers and venue managers.

On the day, I will present you with a marriage certificate, and after your wedding, I will lodge all the necessary documents with the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.

The Wedding Ceremony is a big part of what makes your day so special. You don’t want to compromise on quality, so ensure your Wedding Ceremony is memorable for all the right reasons.

The basic wedding ceremony cost starts at $500. Prices vary depending on individual requirements.

I will provide a fixed costing after discussing the type of ceremony with you.

A deposit of $200 is required at the time of booking and the balance is payable by the final rehearsal.
